You are invited to promote the products and services of
your organization at SILC Congress 2017, a national
conference for Statewide Independent Living Councils
(SILCs) and Centers for Independent Living (CILs) being
held in Mesa, Arizona in January 2017. SILC Congress
brings together approximately 125-150 attendees from
across the United States and U.S. territories and can
provide you with an opportunity to reach individuals
who hold leadership roles and responsibilities in the
disability community.

Statewide Independent Living Councils exist in every
state and territory of the United States and are responsible
for leadership and providing direction regarding the
provision of Independent Living services for people who
have disabilities as well as the expenditure of certain
types of federal funding. Members of SILCs are most
often appointed by state governors and or legislatures
and are influential, decision making community leaders.
SILCs are required to insure that a majority of members
and employees of SILCs are people who have disabilities.
In addition to insuring representation on Councils from
other organizations that provide services for the
disability community.

The 2017 conference will be held from Tuesday,
January 17 to Friday, January 20, 2017 at the Hilton
Phoenix/Mesa hotel.  We are pleased to offer you the
